how does my idea to start my hotel sound?

Im currently in high school and im just exploring the fields of carreers and to see wich one is fit for me , but the main thing is that i want to make millions!-im aware that you have to have a lot of money to start a hotel so this is my plan ,
After i finish college ill go off to newyork to work on my masters at cornell,ill work save up some money, and hopefully ill get some sort of intership at a firm beacuase i can speak many differnt languages(english,Thai,Chinse,Spanish) and i can be a good benefit when there trying to sell stocks or etc.
overseas ,and i have gift for talking to people so im realy good with people .After i get a good sum of money out of that and make some powerful alliances at the firm they can help invest into my hotel.
I was thinking about to start the hotel in Thailand becuase
1-its a booming tourist attraction
2-our US dollar goes way farther over there
3-the geography of thailands is very beautiful it reigns from mountains to crytal clear beaches.

Your plan may change a million times, and it may be easier than you think or even harder than you imagine at moments, Dreams do come true if you work hard. Your already on your way. Just having the idea and starting your plan. Obviously. you are very intelligent. In five years you may change the location and may wanna open a diff. business to run, or you may still want a hotel. Your doing it now, and I believe that after you do College you will have the Business knowledge to answer your own question. Keep working hard babe, and you will make your millions… I think your on a terrific start.

    it sounds good! u sound like a real entrepenur!! but u need to have a backup plan in case this one bombs! Look into other careers to see if there is any other majors that you want to take as Plan B!!!! Good Luck!!

    although this sounds good on paper, you must understand that its fiercley competitive, and basically a losing game. If you have seen Oceans 12, Rusty is in 12 million $$ debt because of the hotel he tries to own. So you also would need a degree in business-management, hotel managment, PR, etc.

    I think the best line of action is to get into a real estate investment firm or developer company….these are the ones u want to buddy up with.
    U have high hopes but ur assuming that u will make powerful alliances and that they will want to invest in ur hotel…This may not happen. Also, no matter how much money u think ur gonna save…ur not gonna save as much as u think…and whatever u do save will be only pennies in the bucket of what it costs to buy or build a hotel…that costs millions. The way u get that kind of money is thru loans.

    I think you’d be better off trying to open a restaurant instead and you’ll find the hotel biz is fiercely competitive out there.
