    I just about died …
    I just about died laughing at the wall-papered lamp shade. That is some serious . The Hotel Carter is worse. I would never stay anywhere but the Hilton downtown when I go. I think their cheapest is around $220 a night but I don’t give a .

    dude i stayed in nyc in january and a nice hotel was the hotel 91 it is in chinatown but its a 5 minute walk from the subway and its only about 15 minutes from time square but its clean not badly sized and the staff were friendly

    “they all have bed bugs…” — actually, I hate to say this, but NYC is infested with bed bugs. Even the upscale hotels have a problem. But the Mayfair is infamous for its postage stamp rooms and contact paper walls. Bed bugs are the live entertainment.

    I was wondering.. the thing in the wall at the pillows with your keyboard on it.. i hope that was a window with the curtains closed right?? Otherwise it’s a really crappy hotel if u don’t even got a window :P

    Pretty sure I stayed at the Hotel Carter. It makes this place look like the Ritz Carlton. Go to Tripadvisor and search for photos of Hotel Carter. Scary.

    What did this place cost? $150 per night?
