All 155 passengers and crew have survived the crash-landing of an airliner in the Hudson River off New York City.

the driver of the first one probably called it in, and the others got there before any real emergency responce teams did (like the coast guard) they deffiently deserve some recognition for that

it’s amazing how …
it’s amazing how fast those river ferries got out there…3 of them were by the plane within 10 minutes! They were lucky it was the Hudson river they landed in, one of the busiest rivers in the USA, Rescue response time was VERY quick because of that. Cudos for the pilot and crew too, that’s a of a landing!

They start out with …
They start out with the Captain as a 14 yr. old learning to fly, then in the Air Force, and finally with U.S. Airways. They show some background on the rest of the crew and some passengers. The flight was only about five minutes, but the rescue took longer. And then they would have to show the familes reuniting. It could easily be a movie.

Looks to me like they slipped into the water. The person who helps is bending down too far to just be helping someone at shoe level.

At 03.14 it looks like someone jumps or falls of the wing on the far right and is pulled back on by someone else a few seconds later. Did that actually happen or does it only look like it that the person actually just set down or slipped but stayed on the wing?

Amazing even more …
Amazing even more so. ALL RIGHT things in place, Even the right PLANE for this water landing. Too many coincidences to dismiss. This is THE DEFINITION of a miracle! (I was an EMT in NY in 1990’s. This was a nightmare rescue scenerio. More expected than hitting a building).

A movie was made of …
A movie was made of FLIGHT 93 from 9/11. I think it would be a great change from what NY has been up against for the last 7 1/2 years. Disney or Hallmark would probably be the backers. Cover the Ferries, coast guard, pilot’s training. Who would play the pilot?

I was thinking of …
I was thinking of the same thing about a movie being made about this experience but the flight was less than 5 minutes from take off to crash. How will they make a 1.5 hour-long movie about a 4-minute flight?
