Cardio Workouts Make You Smarter

Just 30 minutes of exercise increases the blood flow you have going to the brain to help deliver more oxygen and nutrients to perform at your best. Exercise has been shown to enhance memory, problem solving, and decision making!

And the results don’t just last a few minutes past the workout but may carry on permanently, but more research will have to be done. Just think, kids might actually get more recess time in order to raise test scores, you will be more confident at your next presentation, and you won’t have those spaced out moments.

As of right now, the most brain friendly workout is cardio but that is all the study worked with so I am curious to see how it works with weight training! If that is the case I should be a genius!

It goes beyond just the thinking too, cardio helps to decrease stress, help decrease anxiety and help you to be a better person over all… physically and mentally. Can’t go wrong.

Now you know it works but you have to get started. Treadmill workouts don’t have to be mundane and boring…. and you can make those 30 minutes seem to fly by with just a good workout!

Spice up your cardio and your brain by doing intervals with sprints and hills or circuit workouts.

Cardio workouts don’t have to go for long periods to get great results. In fact I recommend keeping your cardio to intervals which are done in 25 minutes!
